English Academic Writing - How to Write Academic Articles and Score Good Grades

Do you want to score good grades for your academic papers but you have a poor command of English? Here is how you can write brilliant academic papers in no time!
Step 1: Have a discussion with your tutor or lecturer on some good topics to write on.
Talking to your tutor or lecturer will give you a good idea of what to write about. For sure, you don't want to choose a topic that isn't suitable for an academic paper. Throw some ideas around and observe how your tutor respond to the topics. Don't expect the tutor to choose the topic for you though. After the discussion, you should have a good idea of what works and what doesn't. Go back and decide on an appropriate topic.
Step 2: Be diligent and do your research.
The next step is to head to the public or school library and do some research. This is an important step. You can't be lazy and expect your academic paper to get good grades. Be prepared to spend hours (or if possible days) at the library to collect important information for your writing. The more materials you have, the better. You can always opt to ignore the less relevant information later on as you write.
Step 3: Focus on what you have to say.
Don't worry too much about grammar as you type. Focus on your content rather than your grammar. If you have a poor command of English, then try to write in shorter sentences to avoid making too many mistakes.
Step 4: Watch your grammar.
Good content expressed in a simple manner will almost always get you good grades. But good content with bad grammar will lower your average scores. That's because no one can stand an academic paper with poor grammar! You don't have to use impressive language. But you do have to make an effort to improve the overall quality of your writing.
